Meet the team:

Mr. Donald Gee, B.Sc. (Geology) C.A.
President and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Gee brings to Great Bear more than 30 years experience in finance and accounting with extensive experience in business start-ups, international business, and managing public resource companies and mining company joint-ventures. As an entrepreneur, Mr. Gee was the successful founder of Gee & Company Chartered Accountants, a Vancouver based public accounting firm. More recently, Mr. Gee has served as a key executive and director for several publicly listed resource companies. Mr. Gee currently serves on the Board of Directors for La Quinta Resources, Eagle Hill Exploration Corporation, and Acero-Martin Exploration Inc. Mr. Gee is a native of Vancouver, British Columbia, a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, the Society of Economic Geologists, and the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology from the University of British Columbia.

Mr. Patrick McAndless, B.Sc (Honours) P.Geo
Director

Mr. McAndless has been involved in mineral exploration for four decades accumulating extensive knowledge and expertise in the evaluation of mineral prospects.  He is currently Vice President of Exploration for Vancouver based Imperial Metals Corporation where he oversees the company's exploration and development programs, property evaluations, and land management. In 2006, Mr. McAndless was the recipient of the APEGBC's C.J. Westerman Memorial Award for "combining his solid professional career with outstanding service and dedication to advancing public recognition of geoscience."  In 2005 he was honored by the British Columbia & Yukon Chamber of Mines and awarded the H.H.  "Spud" Huestis Award for Excellence in Prospecting and Mineral Exploration, and in 2003 he received the Northern BC Prospector of the Year Award at the Northern BC Business & Industry Awards.  Mr. McAndless is a Professional Geoscientist and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree (Honours Geology) from the University of British Columbia.

Mr. Brian Thurston, B.Sc (Honours)
Director

Mr. Thurston brings more than 15 years of exploration and project management experience to the Company. Most recently, Mr. Thurston was project manager for Pacific Ridge Exploration Corp. (PEX TSX-V) and was instrumental in a new uranium discovery near Baker Lake, Nunavut, Canada (Lucky 7 Zone). In addition to many other accomplishments, Mr. Thurston was part of the initial geological exploration team that evaluated the current land holdings of Aurelian Resources Inc. in 2002 and held the position of Country Manager for the company in 2004 and 2005.

Mr. Tony Chan
Director

Mr. Chan has worked in the securities industry since 1983. He was a co-founder of Golden Capital Securities Ltd. in 1990 and retired from the firm in 2004. Mr. Chan helped build Golden Capital into a successful boutique firm encompassing retail, institutional and corporate finance activities. During his time as a principal of Golden Capital, Mr. Chan sat on the Board of Governors of the Vancouver Stock Exchange for two terms and was chairman of the membership committee.

Mr. Wan Jung, C.G.A
Chief Financial Officer and Director
Mr. Jung is a Certified General Accountant with over 30 years experience. He was the former Director of Finance with NIKE Canada Ltd., and presently serves as Chief Financial Officer for Acero-Martin Exploration Inc. and Vice President Finance for Avigilon Corporation, a company that manufactures and markets high definition surveillance systems.

Mr. Suraj Ahuja, M.Sc (Geology) P.Geo
Technical Advisor

Mr. Ahuja has over 30 years of uranium exploration experience and has first hand knowledge of Canada's most active uranium exploration regions.  He has served as Senior Geologist for Cameco Corporation, where he supervised multi-million dollar annual exploration budgets, and Vice President of Exploration for PNC Exploration (Canada), a major Japanese nuclear company.  In 2001, Mr. Ahuja founded SKAN Consulting Ltd, a successful geological consulting firm that provides services to several major and junior uranium exploration companies. Mr. Ahuja is a Member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta and Saskatchewan and holds a M.Sc. in Geology from the University of Saskatchewan.

Dr. Lawrence Dick, Ph.D (Economic Geology) P.Geo
Technical Advisor

Dr. Lawrence Dick is a well known and well respected exploration geologist who has thus far identified four major mineral deposits. As Exploration Manager for Chevron Resourcesin Chile, Lawrence led the team that discovered the giant Collahuasi district copper-molybdenum deposits and the Can Can epithermal gold deposit. Today Collahuasi is one of the largest copper producers in the world. Earlier in his career, Lawrence discovered the Golden Beargold deposit in northern British Columbia which gave the Hunter Dickinson Groupand Wheaton River Minestheir early start. As Executive Vice President and Director of General Minerals Corporation, Lawrence led the exploration that discovered copper and silver prospects in Chile, Peru and Bolivia. As President, Director and lead geologist for Continuum Resources Ltd., Lawrence identified and developed the Natividadand San Josedeposits advancing them from "depleted" properties to potentially viable gold and silver mines. Lawrence received his Ph.D. in Economic Geology from Queen's Universityand has extensive experience in the exploration and evaluation of mineral deposits worldwide.
