Wollaston South Project

Great Bear holds 100% interest in two mineral prospecting permits located approximately 300 kilometres north of La Ronge, Saskatchewan.

Location and Regional Geology

The permits give the Company the exclusive right to explore approximately 82,635 hectares of land in the Wollaston Lake uranium district of the eastern Athabasca basin.

The eastern Athabasca basin is one of the world's premier districts for the discovery of high grade uranium deposits.  Deposits within 15 kilometres of the Wollaston South project collectively have resources and production of more than 317 million pounds of U3O8.

Excellent infrastructure is developed nearby including highways, a network of mine service roads, and several nearby airstrips.  The fully fuctional Rabbit Lake and Jeb ore processing mills operated by Cameco and AREVA respectively are also located close by.

Great Bear acquired the permits in mid-2007 and plans to immediately conduct an airborne geophysical survey to generate targets for further exploration.
